Camp Payment & Cancellation Policy

Community Session participants receive one invoice after their application is reviewed. Payment is due within 30 days or before the session begins, whichever comes first.

 

Participants supported by external scholarships may follow additional partner requirements. NLI coordinates directly with scholarship partners on invoicing.

Cancellations by Participants

Cancellations by NLI

If NLI must cancel a session due to safety, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, all participants and partners receive a full refund of fees paid.

Cancellations by Scholarship Recipients

  • If NLI fills the spot, the scholarship may be transferred with partner approval.

  • If the spot cannot be filled, NLI notifies the partner, and the recipient becomes ineligible for another scholarship for one year.

  • Scholarship recipients may request an exception for documented medical or family emergencies; requests must be submitted in writing.

Exceptions

Exceptions to this policy may be granted only by NLI’s Executive Authority.

How to Request a Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (email is fine). Approved refunds are processed within 30 days.
