Why Your Support Matters

Nudlaghi Leadership Institute strengthens Alaska by investing in the people who lead our communities, organizations, and institutions. Each session brings together Alaskans who learn from one another, from the land, and from the long arc of leadership in this place.

Running camp is meaningful—and expensive. Travel to Silver Salmon Creek, food and supplies, staff and facilitator time, safety equipment, fuel, and remote maintenance all add up. Participant fees cover only a portion of the true cost. Your support closes that gap.

Donor contributions allow us to:

  • Keep participant fees far below the real cost

  • Provide financial support so Alaskans from every region can attend

  • Sustain a diverse group of facilitators

  • Maintain safe, welcoming facilities in a remote environment

  • Keep leadership development rooted in Alaska’s history, geography, and lived experience

Your support also expands access to high‑quality professional development without requiring Alaskans to leave the state, and it strengthens the statewide network that forms at camp—relationships that lead to collaboration and problem solving long after the season ends.

Every gift helps build the grounded, connected leadership Alaska needs for the future.
